Theme for the day : ‘A new Family Ethos’ click to see more information
What is Ethos? ‘Ethos can be defined as the distinguishing character, sentiment, moral nature or guiding beliefs of a person or group’. In context of family Ethos, we focus on the beliefs, morals and characteristics that has been past on from generation to generation. A child is not born an abuser or aggressor, but these aggressive characteristics are imprinted on to that child through what they observe in their family home. By addressing the Family Ethos and assuring new ways to generate a new Family Ethos we can then prevent and ensure that these morals and characteristics are not imprinted on the next generations. .. What can we do differently after 25 Nov ?
