CONFERENCES & EVENTS PLANNED FOR 2019 AND 2020
Social Justice Foundation will be hosting regional conferences during 2019 & 2020 to reach its members and prospective members throughout South Africa. Conferences are custom made to cater for members and involve experts from areas of specialization. Members and social workers registered with SACSSP earn valuable CPD points. 10 CPD points are allocated (5 points / day) to each day of the conference. Members are encouraged to convene conferences in the various regions to promote the industry and create public awareness about the services the organisation offers.

Innovating Social Innovation at the Cutting Edge Conference, Wellington, Western Cape, South Africa, Core Days Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 October 2019.
The big idea with this conference, is to focus on, discuss and discover and co-create and design socially innovative approaches to social innovation in South Africa explicitly within a global comparative contextual perspective by designing and delivering the International Conference on Social Innovation: School of Social Innovation at Hugenote Kollege, Wellington, South Africa.
The purpose includes to focus on the topic: "Innovating Social Innovation at the Cutting Edge"
This conference will be held on the Campus: Hugenote Kollege, Wellington, South Africa Monday 21 to Friday 25 October 2019, with the core days being Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 October 2019.
Tuesday 22 October 2019 is an open day with free entry and will showcase successful social innovation initiatives. The day will be filled with site visits, round table discussions, poster presentations, networking events and workshops on and in the vicinity of the beautiful Hugenote Kollege Campus designed and built by Dr Andrew Murray in Wellington near Cape Town South Africa in the splendid Boland Winelands area.
The big idea also incorporates to co-create this seminal event with knowledge partners from civil society, bussines, governance, academia and the professions.
